SCHIRIN LUCIE RICHTER
Trained as an anthropologist and IDEO alumna, Schirin leverages Design Thinking to solve some of the most difficult challenges. She applies ethnographic research methods to uncover people's latent and unmet needs. She has interviewed and observed hundreds of people in context, including patients with chronic conditions, older adults, children, caregivers and healthcare providers across the United States, Europe and China. With tireless curiosity and effective communication skills, Schirin leads teams to discover insights revealing the multiple layers of complex human motivations, and translates them into meaningful designs with lasting business impact.
LAWRENCE SHUBERT
Lawrence is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience as a designer, leader, educator and executive in the field of design, innovation, and product development. As a former principal of IDEO, the world's leading design and innovation company, he helped pioneer the human-centered process of design thinking. He is passionate about using the power of this process to create positive impact, and help companies and organizations stay competitive and vital in the marketplace. He provides qualitative user research, design strategy, innovation, and product development services to a select group of companies, start-ups, and nonprofit organizations, and he also leads executives and project teams through transformative changes in how they think about and act on innovation.
